Dolce & Gabbana, the brand I anxiously awaited the entire Milan Fashion Week for, has arrived! The best way to sum up the majority of the collection, would be to reference the historical cathedrals of Europe, with their ornate mosaics and religious iconography (circa Byzantine Era). I know I’ve been guilty of calling fashion walking art, in the past, but this collection literally was.

With accessories and shoes that pushed that religious reference, even more than the Alexander McQueen Women’s Fall/Winter 2013-14 Collection, I felt right at home… like I was in the Battistero di San Giovanni, admiring its ceiling.

Like beloved renaissance masterpieces or fine wines, the Dolce & Gabbana label just improves with age. This, being one of my favorite shows, thus far; further heightened by a one Ms. Karlie Kloss adorning the runway.

Selected designs from the Dolce & Gabbana Fall/Winter Ready-To-Wear 2013-14 Collection, at Milan Fashion Week.
